Maine Bioscience Day is a statewide event happening in middle schools in Maine on November 7, 2018. Professionals specializing in science fields volunteer to go to a local middle school classroom to talk with students about their career in science, what they do from day to day, and the opportunities that are out there for a career in science.
Bioscience Association of Maine (BioME) started this initiative in 2016 to promote science as a subject in schools and open students’ eyes to a career in a science field. In 2017, we were able to reach 1,750 students through ME Bioscience Day 2017. Help us keep it going for third annual event this year!
Join the movement to inspire a future scientist!
