DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nGet Involved: Participate\, Volunteer or Sponsor!\nBioME’s 9th annual ME Bioscience Day will be held throughout the week of November 18\, 2024. This is a statewide event that aims to get middle school students excited about science and inform them of the opportunities that they might have working in a science-related field in their future. This year\, we are hosting a hybrid model with both in-person volunteers and virtual programming. \nBioscience Association of Maine (BioME) started this initiative in 2016 to promote science as a subject in schools and create student awareness for a potential career path in a science field. ME Bioscience Day 2023 was able to reach over 5\,400 students from 46 schools.
