Bioscience Association of Maine Unveils a New Refreshed Logo, Brand Identity

Portland, July 26, 2017 – The Bioscience Association of Maine is thrilled to announce a new brand identity with a refreshed organization logo. The Bioscience Association of Maine has grown and evolved over the last couple of years and we felt it was time for a change. While the legal name Bioscience Association of Maine will remain unchanged, we have updated the looks and wording of our logo. We wanted the logo to “tell a story” and reflect who we are and what we do as Maine’s only trade group for the life science industry. After long and careful consideration we decided to switch the wording from “Maine Bioscience” to “BIOME” (Bio Maine).

In recent months our organization has seen a lot of interest from out of state. We are proud to promote Maine as a great state for life science companies and part of our mission is to attract more businesses to the state. That’s why our new logo showcases the State of Maine silhouette in the letter “O”.

The rebranding and marketing effort will be rolled out  over the next couple of months. The implementation of the new logo is the first step to our visual identity transformation and will be followed shortly by a new website.
