Watch our fourth annual Women in Bioscience, virtually. This event featured a moderated panel discussion of acclaimed female scientists and entrepreneurs focusing on leadership, career stories, and obstacles for Maine women in bioscience.
In this inspiring live event Aileen Huang-Saad, PhD (The Roux Institute), Stacey Harris (Consigli Construction Co.), Melissa Glenn, PhD (Colby College), Joan Gordon (Maine Molecular Quality Controls), and Kristy Townsend, PhD (Ohio State University and University of Maine, moderator) discussed their personal stories as Maine women in the industry.
The panel was followed by an interactive workshop “Imposter Syndrome: Understanding and Coping with a Potential Barrier to Success” lead by Shannon McCoy, PhD (University of Maine). Later in the evening a networking reception was held at The Roux Institute’s collaboration café and deck that overlooks Casco Bay.
