Jackson Lab awarded over $130M in grant funding in 2022

Jackson Laboratory, headquartered in Bar Harbor, achieved its second-highest grant funding year in 2022, taking in over $130 million.

The figure was down 8% from the biomedical research institute’s record haul of over $140 million in 2021. Both figures are well above the previous annual record of $108 million in 2020. The 2022 grants and 90 awards for diverse research areas, came from federal programs, foundations and other external sources to support research and education programs. Read more
