I have been driven by a lifelong passion for the ocean. After completing studies in the US in Microbiology and Oceanography, my early professional journey centered first on aquaculture and then environmental advocacy in Cyprus, focusing on marine debris pollution and marine turtle conservation. Later, I returned to the US to pursue a career in aquatic animal health, filling various roles over 22 years at Kennebec River Biosciences, Inc., a Maine business. In 2020, I founded Salmonics and with a dedicated team today help drive the company’s mission to transform aquaculture byproduct fish blood into sustainable biomedical products for use in life science research and veterinary health applications.
